2. According to Google Maps, how long should this trip have taken?- According to google maps it should have taken two weeks.

3. According to archeological evidence, when did the Trojan War occur?- The trojan war occured around the twelfth century BCE.

4. When did Homer compose The Odyssey?- Homer composed  the Odyssey around the eighth century BCE.

5. What is the definition of “epic poem”?- A Long narrative poem; on a serious subject; written in a grand or elevated style;Centered on a larger than life hero.

6. Who is Odysseus’ wife?- Odysseus’ wife name was Penelope

7. Who is Odysseus’ son?- His son’s name was Telemachus

8. What happens in the cave of the Cyclops?- They basically broke into the Cyclops huse and ate it’s goat cheese and when the Cyclops came back it was not happy and the Cyclops begins to eat them but them Odysseus gets the Cyclops drunk then stabs it in the eye with a flaming spear and makesthe Cyclops go blind.

9. Is Odysseus a hero? Why or why not?- Yes he was a hero because to the Greeks Heroism didn't mean perfection it meant that you had an extraordinary attribute or ability and he most definitely did.

10. What is considered one of the most beautiful lines in all of Homer? “And so she too rejoiced, her gaze upon her husband,her white arms round him pressed as though forever.”
