Presentations

So today was the first day of the groups presentation there projects. I must say they are a bit different then I would have imagined but hey they where all very creative. I believe that everything should go smooth on Monday we should have everything ready and good to go for our presentation. I will diffidently learned a lot about Greece today in the one skit with them arguing but it was not like they where arguing about nothing the things they where talking about where very important and reasonable.

Project 2

So today was my birthday and I had a great time. I went out to eat with my family and grandparents and had a good meal. Also my project has been coming along very well I just finished up painting it today so now all we have to do is put it in he kilim again so t will be complete and ready to present. I fee as if our group has done very well and everyone has devoted a lot of time and effort into this to make them look good and get a good grade. To conclude this has been very fun and a whole new learning experience learning about Greek culture and art.

Project

Well our projects are almost done and they are turning out very nicely we have to have to finish painting them then they will be ready to present and hopefully we get a good grade. We really have been putting in a lot of time effort and work on this project. I must say I have enjoyed this and it has been very interesting. Not only have I learned what type of clay they used but also how the used it where they found it and what the different patterns meant and the different meanings. Im very excited to share and present our projects.

Test day

We had a test today I think I did ok on it but studying last night would have helped alt but I left my notes at home but now today we are finally going to make our project which I have never done clay in my life so I'm completely clue less and have no idea on how todo it. I'm hoping that it will turn out good so we as a group get a good  grade on it. I really like to presentate and show the class what we did. I think it will be cool and interesting to do the clay cup.

PRE TEST DAY

So it is not a good situation because I left my folder at school not thinking even though I wrote it down. For the most part I know everything and plan to do well. Tomorrow I also plan on staying after school ofr the project coming up so I am able to make my cup out of clay like the Greek. I feel as if our group is doing very well and every one has done a very nice job about doing there work and making everything equal and right.

I looking forward to actually going and making it but also presenting I feel as if I do very well presenting and I really like it and strive t get better.

We are planning on making a power point on how twe made the bowl. There will also be in structural pictures on the steps for it.

MORE notes...

SEA PEOPLE Around 1200 BCE the mysterious "sea people" began to invade Mycenae, and burnt palace after palace I felt that's I should include this instead of my notes as I feel is very important. I am very disappointed to here the tragedy of Andy Klein. I learned a lot about him over the course of the day although I never meant him personally I wish I could sit down and speak with him. He sound's like a very good man and is terrible that he had passed as many of the teachers said he was wonderful and a very kind and giving person and is such a horrible tragedy that such a nice man had to pass. I would of like to seen him at our school just to see him and think wow how can I be more like him and just be an all around great person. To conclude its a very sad tragedy in the John Carrol community and Harford community.

Slide show notes

Today during class was very interesting. I was rather annoyed with some of my class mates we are a private school and typically that means that the kids are a little more smart but apparently then are not in our class. We did not even get to finish all of the notes and the whole power point which made me vey angry.  UPPER EGYPT  Was a 500 mile long strip of fertile land along the Nile; lower Egypt was the wide land of the Nie delta EMPTYING INTO THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA.
